The bit about BPC-157 healing tendons got me coz I had Achilles pain for months. Been using BPC from life link peptides, noticed pains went down much quicker. Cool hearing Rogan and Huberman actually dive into the real pros/cons.

one thing i'd add for anyone researching the oral vs injection debate for BPC-157: the route of administration matters a lot depending on what you're actually trying to fix. oral has decent evidence for gut-related issues because it acts locally in the GI tract. but for tendon, ligament, or joint repair, subcutaneous injection gets it into systemic circulation, which is where you want it for soft tissue. i've been running BPC through formblends for about 6 weeks now targeting an achilles issue, subQ near the injury site, and the inflammation noticeably dropped around week 3. stacking it with TB-500 seems to accelerate the remodeling phase based on how i'm feeling in training. sourcing matters too, pharmacy-grade vs research chem is not the same thing and the purity difference is real.

really good breakdown on the oral vs injection debate. a lot of people dont realize oral BPC has to survive stomach acid first, which is why injectable tends to work faster for joint and tendon stuff specifically. been using BPC through FormBlends and the difference for my achilles was noticeable around week 3.

one thing worth adding to the oral vs injection debate that i don't see covered enough: the bioavailability gap is real but context matters a lot depending on what you're actually trying to fix. for systemic healing, like tendon or ligament repair, injection (subcutaneous near the injury or just general subq) consistently outperforms oral in the research and in basically every anecdote i've read. the peptide survives the route and gets where it needs to go. but for gut-related applications, leaky gut, IBD-adjacent stuff, ulcer healing, oral actually makes a strong case because it's delivering the compound directly to the tissue you're trying to reach. the degradation that makes oral "inferior" in theory is less of a problem when the target is right there in the GI tract. i came at this originally for a partial achilles tear that never fully healed after about 18 months of PT. been running injectable BPC-157 through formblends for around 10 weeks now, started at 250mcg daily and bumped to 500mcg around week three. the tendon has gone from constant low-grade ache and stiffness to something i actually forget about on most days, which is wild compared to where i was. some people stack it with TB-500 for the systemic anti-inflammatory piece and i've heard good things but i kept mine isolated on purpose so i'd know what was actually doing the work. one underrated thing this video touched on that i want to second: site of injection relative to the injury. i inject subq on my lower calf as close to the site as i can manage and i genuinely think proximity matters even if the research isn't definitive on it yet.

Ty foe being so transparent. I recently had my feet examined and had custom inserts made. 2 weeks in and I can tell a difference. I only have th em in my work shoes but now im thinking about getting multiple pairs of the inserts. I had terrible tendonopathy in my achilles for the last year. Ive tried higher heel toe drop shoes viltaren gel strengthening. But the inserts alone in the last two weeks, I cant even feel the pain anymore

I used this on my achilles tendonitis. It healed and hasn’t come back since. I couldn’t even go up on to my toes without pain so it was quite severe, but I’m so happy I’ve been good so far. And it’s been 2 years since then and I haven’t used bpc-157 since then🤞

the tissue remodeling piece around 19:00 is where this gets really interesting because most people think of peptides as just "healing faster" but the collagen matrix reorganization angle is a different mechanism entirely. been running BPC-157 through formblends for about 8 weeks on a nagging achilles issue and the way you explain why loading protocols still matter even while on peptides finally clicked for me. tendons need mechanical stress to remodel properly, the peptide just seems to accelerate the signaling. curious if you get into TB-500 synergy later in the video, the half-life difference between the two makes stacking them interesting from a timing standpoint.

I have done about a month of bpc pills and my Achilles are the best they’ve been in years. Going to complete 6 weeks then cycle off then try injections in another 6 weeks. My lower back has not responded as well as my achilles. Can you demonstrate where one would inject a peptide for each common injury?

I started taking BPC 157 for a few chronic injuries from running. Achilles tendonitis and sinus tarsi syndrome. And by the end of the first week taking 500micro grams per day at night everything was 100%. Except the sinus tarsi syndrome. That took a month and I woke up one morning and walked down the statists 100%. Incredible stuff!!

really useful breakdown on the SubQ vs systemic injection distinction, that part gets glossed over in most BPC content. one thing i'd add from personal experience is that injection site proximity to the injury matters a lot more at lower doses. i run bpc through formblends and started at 250mcg, the localized dosing near my achilles made a noticeable difference by week 3.

one thing a lot of people get wrong with bpc dosing is thinking more = faster healing. in my experience starting around 250mcg and working up slowly gave way better results than jumping straight to 500. been running it through Form Blends for my achilles and the conservative titration actually made a noticeable difference.

Infiniwell is fantastic. They've even done a human study with it in conjunction with a university and the study participants had better results than placebo. They have a version with SNAC that increases bioavailability as well. I'm taking it currently and having good pain relief in my hands and Achilles. People who say oral BPC doesn't work are just spreading more false bro science, just like saying BPC has to be pinned subQ above the site of injury (which doesn't even make sense because the capillaries in the skin pick it up and it goes systemic, unless they actually pin it IM or directly into a tendon etc). Links to studies where oral BPC was shown effective for musculoskeletal issues: Pentadecapeptide BPC 157 (PL 14736) improves ligament healing in the rat - PubMed https://share.google/8JGKTEGqm3iz2WgLj "Likewise, BPC 157 was effective given per-orally (0.16 microg/ml in the drinking water (12 ml/day/rat)) until sacrifice. Commonly, BPC 157 microg-ng-rats exhibited consistent functional, biomechanical, macroscopic and histological healing improvements. Thus, we suggest BPC 157 improved healing of acute ligament injuries in further ligament therapy." Oral BPC-157 - OvationLab https://share.google/sTdzWhyoiHBp91jId

the evidence breakdown here is really well done, and the distinction between the animal model data and the human trial gap is the most important thing to understand before deciding what to do with this peptide what i think gets lost in most BPC-157 discussions is the route of administration question. oral vs injectable is not just a convenience preference, they appear to work through different mechanisms. oral administration shows up most consistently in the gut lining research, intestinal permeability, ulcer healing, that kind of thing, which makes sense given the contact time with the GI tissue. the injectable data on soft tissue and tendon repair is where the more dramatic recovery stuff comes from, and those are different use cases that people collapse into one conversation constantly i've been running BPC through formblends for about ten weeks, started it after a pretty stubborn achilles issue that wasn't responding to the usual stuff, and the recovery curve around weeks 3-4 felt genuinely different than the months prior. i can't tell you that's causation and not just the natural timeline of tendon healing, but the timing was notable enough that i kept the protocol going the systemic vs localized effect debate is something i wish this video had gone a little deeper on. the GH secretagogue angle and the nitric oxide pathway stuff suggests there's something broader happening beyond just the injection site, but the mechanism is murky enough that i hold that loosely anyway this is one of the more honest takes i've seen that doesn't just write it off as bro science or oversell it as a miracle, appreciate that framing a lot

the point about bond peptides acting synergistically is what i keep coming back to. BPC-157 alone did a decent job on my achilles but the recovery plateau was real until i added TB-500 into the rotation. the combination seems to do something neither does independently, probably the systemic vs localized mechanism you explain here. been sourcing through Form Blends for about 8 weeks now and the difference in tissue quality during training is noticeable. what protocol timing do you recommend between the two injections on the same day?

Pentadecapeptide BPC 157 enhances the growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts.

BPC 157 increased the expression of growth hormone receptor in tendon fibroblasts, which may enhance the proliferation-promoting effect of growth hormone and contribute to tendon healing. The study found that BPC 157 dose- and time-dependently increased growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts.
