I am a WADA band athlete now. I'm unnatural. Natty card, out the window, gone. If you want to define everything by WADA standards and guidelines, I'm unnatural. I can never compete in a natural competition again, at least within like the next 10 years or whatever it is, but I am no longer a lifetime natural athlete or whatever. And do I care? Absolutely not. So let's talk about BPC 157 and TB 500, the reason that I gave up my Natty card for life. And let's disconnect that from my keyboard attachment that I used to somewhat script this video or make sure I cover everything that was needed. But with that being said, let's cover a little bit of basics here. I am in my early 20s. I am no longer a natural athlete. I'm not competitive in anything. I was a lacrosse player from sixth grade up until my senior year of college, which is one of the reasons that I started taking BPC 157 and TB 500. I power lifted quite extensively. However, currently I'm not power lifting anymore and we're just living life as an adult. But let's first cover why did I take BPC 157 and why did I give up my natural card? Well, first things first, I had a lot of issues over the years of lifting and just functioning. As I said, I played lacrosse from sixth grade up until my senior year of college. And it wasn't just at the rate where it was a singular season a year, but it was often one to four seasons a year where it would be fall ball into winter indoor slash box into the spring season into a summer league just so everything stayed sharp. So as you can imagine, that's a lot of wear and tear on my shoulders, on my torso, on my legs, on my elbows, on my wrist, on so many joints and other like utilize systems within the sport of lacrosse where it just becomes tough for them to maintain themselves for that long. And with anything where it's extended, repeated motions, um, that can cause a lot of wear and tear to the body and a lot of issues with time, which especially for me, it absolutely wrecked my shoulders and arms where, you know, I would move my shoulder in and out and it would click, I would be working on stuff and just keeping my shoulder overhead for an extended period of time or in certain positions, it would be, it would cause issues and my shoulders just always hurt. And then that translated into the more and more that I got into lifting, I just always had shoulder issues. It felt like, you know, with the amount of bench volume that you can do during powerlifting programming, it just makes it difficult to, uh, constantly put repeated strain and load on your shoulders and stuff like that. Then I had hip issues and lower back issues where all of these would just kind of wreck so much of it. And especially I had a lot of tricep and elbow issues where it would be movements where it's like tricep push downs or skull crushers where it's like going into this one. A lot of it would be, uh, stretching and burning in the tricep or it felt like my tricep was going to just tear itself off of the bone here and just absolutely shred itself here, which would really limit the amount of weight and the amount of volume that I could program into triceps, which inherently is not something that we, that was good. So after so long of just dealing with all of those issues with hips, knees, shoulders, triceps, anything like that, and having no real reason not to go after anything that could be done to prevent it or do it, um, if you're given the option to potentially fix that and alleviate the issues, I have a, I see it as a really hard time why people wouldn't just go ahead and bite the bullet or go with it. And with peptides, I saw no reason not to. I'm not in a competitive environment where you could say that it gives you an unnatural edge or an issue with anything like that, where it would matter. The research seems to indicate that TB500 and BPC157 are relatively safe or safe on their own and that they are safe when combined together. Again, do your own research when it comes to that one. And please, please, please consult a medical professional before doing anything. Again, I've worked with Merrick Health before. There's videos in one of the two corners there discussing my experience with Merrick Health. There will be a new video discussing over a year, over half a year with Merrick Health, soon to be a year with Merrick Health coming up. And yeah, Merrick is offering it and it's something that I can get through Merrick. Then I see no reason not to do it. And the final reason why I took it. is it's a minimally evasive all things considered. So prior to surgery or worrying about yeah prior to surgery and a lot of other stuff simply doing a pill or an injection is something where it's kind of a buffer one and maybe you can see if it would be worth that prior to going into something that's going to take an extensive amount of physical therapy and recovery to get back from. So let's go to what did I take? So I took a full round of BPC-157 and TB-500. I did not have them overlapping during my entire usage of them. I did have them staggered at the start and at the end. So I started with BPC-157 with localized injections to the areas where we were having issues. Then after a week or two of BPC-157, I integrated in TB-500 as well. The doses were different for each one. The dosing cycle was also different as they have different half-lives and interactive half-lives. But they were both taken via an injection, not the pill formats, at least a BPC-157. I don't know if there's a pill format of TB-500. And for administration and location of where they were done, they were both done site-specific and non-site-specific when administered. So for quick explanation of what that means, if it was like delt issues or shoulder issues or something like that one, you would find a relative area within it to inject the BPC-157 or TB, which is a little bit more localized in its application in some uses. I had not seen that much information regarding TB-500 being site-specific. So I would do it, you know, in the delt or something else like that one where it would work. But for non-locational specific injections and administrations, you could do it as a subcutaneous injection into the just belly fat area or into the torso area. So both of those were used throughout it. And then at the end, it was just running TB-500 for maybe a week or two after finishing the overlapping of two because BPC-157 ran out. And just to kind of extend the duration that it was in my system to maximize any effects. So now let's discuss what happened from taking it. So honestly, my triceps have never felt better. I don't know what it was about it, but before I always felt like I would get the burning sensation, the tightness sensation, and like my tricep was going to tear itself off of the bone near my elbow. And they would just hurt for days after. And it would kind of like, whenever that feeling occurred, and it would just tank any other exercises that you could think of. Like if you're benching, you would have issues. Even deadlifts, you would have issues. Or squats, depending on where you're positioning your arm and any load applied to it, you would still be able to feel it. And as you can see, that's definitely not efficacious. Even for just stuff in general life, you would still feel that crossover. Now I've had a lot of success being off of it for over six months now at this point. Because if it was just a quick turnaround, in fact, I don't really want to make a video about this. But the fact that I've been off for so long, and I've been able to have success in sustaining a lot of volume tricep work, heavy tricep work, two to three times a week, with no issue and hitting a lot of volumes and weights that I've never seen before in training, and having better workouts than before, is something that is absolutely a benefit to being able to have with this one. Same thing with my shoulders. I would always feel like clicking and grinding, and it would be able to pick up on the mic. As you could hear, there's a few clicks in there, but now it's just absolutely mint. There's a little bit of click there, but there's nothing on the back like there used to be. But that feeling in my shoulders, where my shoulders would hurt, and it would be limiting my range of motion, it would be limiting how often I could bench, how often I could squat, and just hurting a lot in, you know, day-to-day life or other issues, that has been pretty much alleviated. There's not really the clicks, nothing really hurts in my shoulders or in my body, and it's no longer as cyclical as it was, where they would burn out quickly, or they would recover cyclically, where it would feel great for like a week or two at a time, and then it would tank, and then it would just like keep repeating that cycle. All of that has kind of disappeared, and it's just been one good consistent baseline of health, where you can really achieve a lot of hypertrophy in your lifts. You can hit a lot of good weights, and you can hit a lot of good volumes, and I can train them harder than ever before with no issues. And everything feels like it's fixed right now. I've been off of TB500 and BPC157 for over six months now and recovery does not feel like it's really aggressive since then. Maybe actively healing stuff as stuff comes up is slower but BPC and TB500 are not meant for sustaining constant recovery. It is a in place and in time temporary solution to having stuff where well it's in the system it's working great and it's effective but there are no long-term benefits to it away from maybe long-term changes to health or long-term changes to muscle and tendon. But obviously if you re-injure it that's one thing but it's not going to permanently change any of the systems that it's interacting with. By that I mean whatever changes or recovery are made while you're taking it I would imagine those should be sustained as you stop your usage of it. But that accelerated speed of recovery is not something that will be sustained when you stop using BPC157 or TB500 and that is something that we will address in a later section of would I do it again and what are my thoughts on it. But we're just going to finish out the section of what happened from taking it. Honestly with how BPC157 and TB500 made my body feel and how I feel now it was immensely worth it even if I was not lifting often or didn't care about that. Just to have a higher quality of life and higher standard of life I would do it again. But that leads us into the section of would I do it again and what are my thoughts. If it wasn't clear prior I would absolutely do it again. My body feels great. Recovery is great from it. The effects seem to be long lasting and they didn't die down immediately once I stopped administering it. I do think it is worth noting though that it's I do not think this can or will fix anything and there's also some side effects that you should be aware of. There is a limit to what it can fix and you should consult a doctor prior to usage. There's still studies coming out to it but it seems promising. So let's talk about some of the side effects to it and some of the stuff from the studies as well as its limitations. Some of the side effects that you should be aware of is it accelerates the growth of everything. So if you have cancer cells within your body or you have other active issues there is a chance that it will make those grow because it's not one tissue selective. It is not selective of what it is growing. It just grows anything and everything. So that's something that you should be aware of because it could exacerbate the effects or issues that you have with something. So you should be aware of that. Two, there's limitations to what it can do and what it can recover. If you have a completely torn ACL, MCL muscle, yeah there's no way that you can really fix that without surgical intervention. Because let's think of it like a branch or something else with a partial part. A branch probably isn't the best example. But you know we can't think of it like a branch or like you're it's a tree and you're grafting it to something. If you have that split in a branch you can still have the cells and fibers eventually grow themselves in or if you're grafting something to a tree you have that cut and you have that indent you can graft in the branch or other tissues of another plant or other thing to get the desired effects to it. It works similar in my mind to that as BPC-157 and TB-500 where as long as there's the opportunity for those things to grow back together it can. But if it's completely torn and there's no connection there's no way for them to heal together again it can't fix that. Which is why like if you completely tear something it's going to require surgery just so there is like that bridge and there's that ability for the fibers themselves to reconnect to grow and to have that opportunity to do it. I think it would help in that instance potentially post-surgery as a therapeutic method or a way to accelerate the recovery from surgery but if it's a complete tear you're screwed. Even with like bone bruises and stuff like that I don't necessarily think that it's going to recover or necessarily you know accelerate recovery of bone or certain types of material. Bone I don't think it's going to help recover you know scars deep cuts and stuff like that. It honestly might help recover just because cellular growth in those areas should be done as it does also help with blood vessels and stuff like that one. It does seem to have promising effects too with affecting your and gut health doing that one which bpc is based off of some certain stuff i would recommend just reading into the scientific literature of it and consulting professionals and stuff like that but i do think yeah you should be aware that it causes uh growth of everything just in case not growth of everything um so yeah johnson's not getting taller but the recovery might be better uh you know we're probably going to cut that out but with that being said i am extremely grateful to have done it with how it makes my body feel with how i'm able to train now and how i feel for that baseline of life i absolutely am thankful that i did it i would do it again and it's something that i am going to probably restock just in case i do have issues with my back or my shoulder or i injury lifting just as something to have in that back of the cabinet in the back of the repertoire where if there is an issue or an injury and we just want to accelerate recovery from it something to implement in but please take this video with a grain of salt because bpc 157 and tv 500 from my anecdotal experience are a blessing but i would not recommend using this without consulting a medical professional making sure it's from a good site and it is reputable if it's something that you are injecting into your body or if you're even consuming in a pill formatting and make sure that you understand the full risk profile of it probably read some studies and make sure you're talking with an educated professional prior to using it this is purely my experience with it but if you have any questions comments or concerns please drop them down below feel free to subscribe to the channel while you're at that drop a like on the video share it or recommend it to anyone else if you want to but with that being said i hope you guys have a fantastic day today we are drinking bum energy in the root beer flavor it's absolutely fantastic and test it out if that's something you're interested in but i appreciate you taking the time to watch this video and with that being said cheers
